“I wanted to make myself a necklace that I could wear every day, and I also wanted the piece to tell a story. I knew that I wanted sterling silver. I first selected the expect miracles quote because my mother would always say that to me. I then chose to build the rest of my piece off of that quote. I picked the clear quartz for the stone drop. I decided to add the turquoise bead for a fun pop of color, and the wishbone is for my daughter, representing that my wish for all of her dreams to come true.”

“Pink has always been my favorite color, all shades of it, so I knew I wanted a pink stone incorporated in my piece.  I really liked the lines and the shape of the peacock feather- it looked very feminine and delicate. Emerald green is said to be the color of the year, and I knew it would complement the pink I already had in the piece, so I selected a small green bead. The trunk of an elephant being raised in the air is a symbol of luck, good fortune, and optimism.  There is no need to choose between wearing silver and gold when you can just wear both.”
